How do I apply for a trade account with Greige?
You can apply for our Designer Trade Program online through our website or in person. Show off your flair!
How do I place a trade order?
Whatever suits your style! You can place a trade order via email, phone call, in person or through our website. Placing a trade order has never been easier!
What are the steps after my trade order is placed?
You will need to contact Greige the next business day for payment and verification. Don’t forget to specify item quantity and if it is delivery or pick up!
Who qualifies to join your trade program?
Any qualified professional that provides interior design or architectural services. We have a Designer Trade Program application on our website to make applying convenient.
What credentials do I need to apply to the trade program?
You will need one of the following:
- ASID certification
- CID certification
- Be a licensed interior designer
- Have 5 plus years of experience in the interior design business
Does your trade program offer tax exemption?
Yes, a Louisiana re-sale tax ID.
Is my trade discount available in-store?
How much does it cost to join the program?
Nothing! You just have to meet the minimum order quantity of $2,500.
If I am a member, am I considered an employee of Greige?
No. You are considered a wonderful associate that exudes style and sophistication.
How soon can I begin shopping with my client?
Immediately. As soon as you are approved to participate in our Designer Trade Program feel free to shop till you drop!
What is the delivery policy?
Customers are responsible for their own pick up or delivery. We are happy to provide a list of recommended delivery companies upon request.
When do I receive earnings?
You will receive your earnings within 5-7 business days after the client has possession of the merchandise.
How are earnings paid?
Earnings can be paid by check or through direct deposit.
Are my earnings taxable?
Yes. At the end of the year you will receive a 1099.
How do I get tax exemption?
You will get tax exemption if you have a re-sale ID. If you need help, we can provide more information upon request.
Does my client need to be present when I’m shopping?
No, we understand that some clients are busy and cannot always be present. Thank goodness they trust you with their vision of style! Right?
What if a client returns an order?
Unfortunately special orders are non returnable, and in stock orders must be returned within 72 hours of purchase.
Do you have a minimum order quantity to open a trade account?
The minimum order quantity to open a trade account is $2,500.
Where can I find more information about your warranties?
We can provide more information for each vendor upon request.
Do you offer fabric swatches?
Yes! We can order cuttings of any of our fabrics. Shipping typically takes 3-5 business days.
